Q. Will insurance pay for pain treatment?

A. It is always best to check with your insurance to verify what benefits your plan provides for payment of pain treatment. We do accept most insurances, Medicare, BadgerCare and Medical Assistance.

Q. What should a patient bring for their first visit?

A. Your insurance card, any xrays or medical records that have not previously been sent to the clinic.

Q. Are pain treatment procedures painful?

A. Go to our pain management education section to read about common procedures. For most procedures if they are painful, sedation is given to reduce the discomfort.

Q. Can a patient drive home after a treatment procedure?

A. If they have been given sedation they must have another person drive them home. It is always best to make arrangements for a driver when a treatment procedure is scheduled.

Q. What if a patient is taking a blood-thinner?

A. Please call prior to the visit to see if any changes are needed to the medication dosage.
